This morning before I started work, I did a lot of admin for the Facebook crochet mask adaptors group. I started by reviewing where we were at, and what outstanding information did we need. We had a lot of “TBC” on the spreadsheet, where we didn’t know if the hospitals were accepting donations or not. In order to try and get supplies to where they are verified by Infection Prevention and Control or procurement and where the demand was greatest, I contacted a lot of the hospitals today. I was really pleased to get a lot of replies this evening when I checked after work to update the sheet. I am really pleased that one place I had approached was the national ambulance service who have replied they would love to receive more supplies for the national crews up and down the country, and could they include this on their Facebook group, which has made my day. Tonight will involve getting another batch ready to send to them, and a bit of switch off TV.
